Description
This organizer for Catan 6th Edition allows you to fit the 6 boxes from the 6th Edition Catan base game, Cities & Knights, and Seafarers into a single box. This 3D printed organizer for Catan is perfect for anyone that wants to keep everything organized, wants to speed up setup, game-play, and tear down, or just wants to free up space on the table and your shelf. It allows you to simply the task of keeping track of the hundreds of pieces from the game and expansions. This listing has the player trays as an option, mostly for customers that bought only the player trays in the past. There is also another listing on my shop that allows you to purchase only the player trays. This organizer is made up of the following items:
- 6 Players trays in matching colors for the player pieces. Each tray holds 4 cities, 5 settlements, 15 roads, 15 ships, 2 markers, 6 knights, and 3 walls. The building cost cards from the base game and Seafarers are used as a cover for the trays and held securely in place with the included bracket. There are also slots to hold the building cost cards while playing.
- 2 card trays. These card trays collapse for storage. One for the base game and one for Cities and Knights.
- A hex holder that holds all the hexes from the base game and Seafarers. It also has slots for the Cities & Knights cost cards, the wonder cards, and the player markers.
- Accessories tray that holds things like the number tokens, docks, dice, metropolises, merchant, robber, and seafarers markers. It also has another tray attached to the bottom to hold VP tokens, cloth, pirate lair, and X tokens.
The card trays, accessories tray, and hex holder are available in a variety of colors that you can choose when adding to the cart. The 6 player trays will be in the following colors: blue, orange, red, light gray, purple, and green. Not that the white pieces in the 6th edition are a very light gray color. For that reason, I have decided to go with a light gray player tray for the white pieces (The rule book still refers to them as white, even though it is clearly gray). You can get an idea of the colors from the pictures.
The organizer is designed so that there is space on the side of the box for the regular frame pieces. The odd sized pieces from SF and CK sit on top of the organizer, along with the CK improvement boards, and largest army/longest route cards. You can also store the box on the side. I do recommend rubber bands on the card trays to hold them in place if the box is going to be tossed around a good bit, like in a suitcase. Otherwise, everything should remain fairly secure in the box.
Custom colors for the player trays along with player pieces are also available in my shop.
Note that these pieces are 3d printed, so there may be imperfections, but nothing that would affect use of the organizer.
